It’s officially opening weekend for summer, my absolute favorite time of year.

Most of us don’t get an official summer vacation anymore, but I personally think the new season deserves a little celebration. Gather your friends, eat great food, enjoy the sunshine.

I picture warm dock boards under bare feet, saltwater hair, potato chips and olives in cute little vessels, oysters on ice, the perfect martini. The smell of the grill, fresh herbs tucked into bud vases, everyone in linen, holding a glass or bottle covered in condensation. A really good playlist, a lot of laughter, and a fire at the end of the night when nobody is ready to go home.

That’s the vibe. And this month’s hosting guide has everything you need to pull it off… a full dinner menu with tips, three signature cocktails, flower and table inspiration, hosting notes that will actually change the way you host, and printable menu cards for both the food and drinks.
